Future Goals & Milestones
Future Goals & Milestones
As we actively plan for the future, our immediate attention is centered on addressing startup costs and laying a robust foundation for the financial success of our institution. Until St. Bonaventure Academy is fully operational, every donation will be dedicated exclusively to supporting these startup expenses. Your generosity is paramount in ensuring the successful realization of this monumental mission, as St. Bonaventure Academy relies entirely on your support.
The Chapters of our Journey
Chapter 1: We aim to inaugurate our school and commence operations in August 2026 enrolling 130 students. Although we prioritize a phased approach to achieving our goals, we appreciate your understanding that our timeline is subject to adjustment.
Chapter 2: In the second year, our objective is to enroll 154 students, aiming for a 1:10 teacher-student ratio in kindergarten through second grade, a 1:20 ratio in grades 3 and 4, and a 1:15 ratio in grades 5-8. St. Bonaventure Academy is committed to implementing blended learning, providing high-quality intervention, offering various extracurricular activities, introducing elective programming, mental health awareness programming, partially incorporating aspects of our international studies program, and consistently investing in top-notch staff and curriculum.
Chapter 3: During our third year of operations, we anticipate welcoming an additional 56 students. With the state-of-the-art facilities situated on the shores of Lake Erie, we are poised to expand our programming. Our goal is to seamlessly integrate culinary arts and horticulture programming with our Healthy Mind and Body initiative, encouraging students to explore new skills while gaining insights into the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Chapter 4: In our fourth year, we will finalize our boarding facilities, ready to accommodate students from international, national, and local backgrounds. Concurrently, we will commence the construction of our state-of-the-art athletic complex, and our international studies programming will be fully operational. By reaching our financial milestones in year four, we will establish the foundation for St. Bonaventure to achieve complete self-sustainability by year five. Our financial model ensures that we can offer high-quality education and opportunities while eliminating financial barriers both locally and internationally.
Chapter 5: Upon the completion of our Athletic complex, we will provide students and the community with diverse fitness opportunities. The construction of this complex will also facilitate the expansion of our elective programming and support community outreach through various events and programs. In the fifth year, our aim is to further extend our boarding and international studies programming. Through meticulous planning and strategic investments made during the commencement phase, we anticipate achieving full self-sufficiency by year five. Additionally, we plan to commence construction on a lakefront chapel in this year, offering a space for students to gather, celebrate our faith, and fully embrace our principles and core values.
